I'm crestfallen. I've used Hopkins Acura since I moved to the Bay Area in 2011. I have always written glowing reviews over the years. Terry Clark was an amazing customer service representative. Terry always gave it to me straight. I felt taken care of. I felt special. Terry Clark serviced my 2001 CL TypeS and my 2003 CL-Type S. He's the reason I bought my 2007 TL- Type S from Hopkins Acura. Hopkins Acura had the used vehicle I was looking for at an excellent overall price and value. I came in already knowing the vehicle and what I was willing to pay, but they made the test drive and negotiation process painless and smooth every step of the way. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a fair deal on a new or used vehicle!
In short, we were told a car would be ours, when, in fact, the salesman had us wait nearby, while he sold the car to another customer. We found this to be manipulative and duplicitous. Potential buyer beware!
Service people get commission on services. So they push things that your car doesn't need at the time. Service people are not honest and tell you upfront that their warranties are as good as your miles, they try to find any conceivable excuse not to honor their parts. Bought tires and they said they don't warrant their tires if something goes wrong you need to go directly to the company. That sucks because if I knew that I would had bought my tires at Costco or any other tire company that guarantee the product. Their are not sympathetic ... Read More

I did a recent shopping with Hopkins Acura Redwood City. I had a RDX lease ending and wanted to get into a new TLX lease. My RDX had little over mileage than what I'm supposed to use. Pablo was the sales guy who helped me in choosing the car and take care of all lease closure formalities. I had a terrible sales experience with Hopkins where I walked out and purchased my Acura elsewhere. I dreaded going back for a warranty item, I was pleasantly surprised with Kah he was friendly, helpful, went to bat for me on a warranty item. Got me an Uber and followed up with me. Hopkins May have won back a customer.
I brought my car in for new tires. They gave me a great deal, price matched other competitors. They also offered a Uber to and from office. Very convenient.
Both my car and I are happy. Great service and my car was finished in the time they said it would be finished. I’m always happy with Hopkins!!
Raj was really easy to work with. He was very informative and friendly. He was conscious of my time and gave us a great price.

I have used this dealership for service for decades. They used to drive my car around so I just got in and drove away. Now they walk me through the service area outback where they keep all the cars and take me past several cars to where mine is parked. Not sure who changed this , but not cool since I walk with a cane. This is done even in pouring rain. Will use another dealer for service even though I will have to drive further.
very helpful sales staff and efficient finance department. We have been using Hopkins for many years for service as well. I am sure dealership is aware they have space issues that makes it difficult for customer to shop cars.
I was told my service would take about 45minutes. Work was completed on time. My car was cleaned and ready to go.Everyone was friendly.

We bought our car from Hopkins Acura 11 years ago and my wife and I decided for the first time ever to use the dealership for service under warranty and beyond. I can tell you we were never disappointed! The car was delivered on time or before in tip top shape, washed and ready to go. Most importantly though it was the quality of work that never brought us back to correct the initial problem. Actually we didn’t have any problems, only the regular maintenance plus two windshields! One of the only Acura dealerships on the peninsula. The staff were personable and easy going, like hanging out with buddies. Definitely not the pushy dealership experience. The selection of both new and used cars was huge. The facility itself was terrible. Surprised the owner doesn’t want to update the site a bit. Really wouldn’t cost that much to make the place feel in line with the “Acura” brand.
I called Luke at 11AM to inquire about a fully loaded MDX. I walked in to the dealership at 2:05PM with a trade, and walked out at 3:15PM with a brand new MDX. The process was seamless and Luke was very kind.

My car was recently in due to extensive damage by a rock going under the car. Terry coordinated the worke with the insurance adjuster and myself with excellent results. The car was fully checked out and other issues also fixed. Terry's advice and recommendations were top of the line. I just drove the car to Tahoe and back in bad weather. The car was very satisfactory.
I was scared and had to go home to pick up handicapped elderly mom. I had no idea what was wrong with my car and scared to put my mom into my car that was sounding like the bottom fell off and was scrapping the pavement as I drove. In comparison to other dealerships this one was painless to work with. I got the deal I was looking for I the first visit. Recommend to compare to other dealerships before you rate it.
The dealership was respectful of my time and in a very short time I was able to return my old car and lease a new car.
I knew the exact car I wanted as Acura car "packaging" gives relatively few choices (which is a very good thing!). It made buying process easy. 2 visits total. A test drive and a deposit. Car had to be ordered, came back a week later to pick up car. It took 45 minutes to test drive my car, go through details and financing process. Just what I wanted. Easy and quick.

This is the third time I've had my car in for service with Hopkins Acura, and I've been satisfied every time. Terry and the rest of the team were very clear about the services required, the cost and the time it would take to get things turned around. They ended up finishing the car ahead of schedule and were always super with their communication on the status.

When I pulled into the service area I wasn’t acknowledged. I stood around for quite a few minutes before someone helped me. The Service was done in a reasonable amout of time and I was called as soon as they were done. However, If I had another option of dealerships in our area I would possibly explore it . Service advisor, Noah was polite. I wouldnt say “yes” or “no” to reccommend the shop I would say “maybe”

Luke and Kao were quick to my initial questions over the phone about the Acura MDX Hybrid and we set up a test drive once a car arrived. They were both very well versed in the specification of the car. After a test drive we decided to purchase the car and trade in our old Volvo. They were both friendly and without a lot of pressure. Our only disappointment was that because Acura does not make a lot of MDX Hybrids, we had to pay close to MSRP.
Great experience. We changed the vehicle we wanted at the last minute and despite them having gone to great lengths to bring in a car we requested only for us to change our minds at the last minute and pick on off the showroom floor.
Every time I bring my car in, Noah goes the extra mile to help me with my car service. He offers service suggestions and future needs.
I was not looking forward to the experience of shopping for a new car, especially once I had a good idea of what I wanted. I dreaded the haggling over pricing and up selling that happened in the past. Especially when it comes to signing all the paper work. My last experience two years ago took just under 3 hours!

First time ever to have a seamless experience at a car dealer. From my experience, leasing or purchasing a car would take approximately 3 hours. This time It only took 1.5 hours max. Austin Kindle listened well and answered my questions straight forward. No BS. They are willing to work with me. Austen even followed up to check how I’ve been doing with the new RDX and scheduled a meeting regarding the technology use of the car
They were ready for me when I arrived for appointment...45 minutes and I was one my way again. Nice, competent staff. I'm hooked!

Easy check-in, prompt service at the quoted price, and returned a much cleaner car than I dropped off. I have been frustrated with other dealers that have a lengthy check-in despite having fully described my service needs when making the appointment. This was the smoothest process I’ve experienced at a service desk in years.

My car battery died and I was fortunate to get the car towed to Hopkins. Terry assisted me and informed me that my battery was still under warranty and replaced it the following day. I really appreciate all that terry did as we needed the car for a trip in the upcoming weekend.

I came in for climate control issue, and also regular service. Prices were exactly as quoted, and when the climate control issue would have needed some additional time, Terry was very flexible and understanding, offering a variety of ways for me to leave the car, borrow one, get alternate transportation, or come back on another day. Parts arrived much more quickly than expected, and the entire experience was very painless and pleasant.

My Acura failed smog test. Techs found and corrected one problem. The engine check light came on again and so Hopkins folks rechecked, found another problem and corrected it for no charge. Provided nice loaners for both visits. Car has since passed smog test.

Service was great. One item for improvement: I found out after the fact that the shuttle service was cancelled. Fortunately they setup an Uber/Lyft for me. Also, no mention was made about my Uber back to the service center. The cost was minimal so it wasn’t a big issue, but the transportation workflow was less than optimal.
The service manager was helpful and considerate, they made the new key for me and had me on my way in less than an hour.
Terry Clark was fabulous. He is very knowledgeable and patient and took the time to explain everything to me. He made sure the work was done within the time estimated and it was. I was able to make my afternoon meeting and there was even extra work done in my car! I would highly recommend Hopkins Acura to anyone for servicing their car.

I walked in just to get my 2016 serviced. On my way out I noticed this Red sport looking MDX and I decided to inquire about it, next thing I know, Raj the sales person was so persuasive and explained so well the advantages of that car that I couldn’t do anything else but to trade my 2016.
Had a noise with my new vehicle after only 1600 miles. Terry was able to have the vehicle evaluated promptly, parts needed to be ordered and currently awaiting back order to be filled.
